I'm not sure. This place houses art exhibits and shows, I figured it was part of one of them.

That is a beautiful elevator I must agree. It has an industrial charm about it, clean, functional and yet with a little elegance.

It is an old freight elevator from the looks of it, just has been spruced up to be nice looking.
